What Antivirus do you recommend?

At now the currently best antivirus is quick heal total security.

Webroot, light, fast and its really the best , been using for years niw

Linux is the best "Antivirus" out there.

But if you need to stick to windows: Take Avast. I use it on my windows machines and its ok. Its also for free.

@Nerva,

Without any doubt it has to be Eset Smart Security. I have been using it for almost 10+ years now. It is the only internet security (anti virus + firewall + anti-theft + parental control) software which is easy on your computer resources and your OS and other application will work smoothly.

Bitdefender and Kaspersky will hog your computer and waste your time with so many FALSE NOTIFICATIONS.

If you want to be absolutely safe, I would suggest to use Zemana Anti Malware alongwith Eset Smart Security. Malwarebytes will also hog your computer and make it slow.

There are a number of discount coupons available for Eset Smart Security as well as Zemana Anti Malware.

Best Regards.

I have tried a number of antivirus software through the years, and so far only Malwarebytes was able to protect me from every infecion. So I recommend it.

AVG + malwarebytes

Spybot S&D is very good too.

I'm confused between BitDefender and Eset. Any reviews on BitDefender?

Which one to get?

Malwarebytes. Detects the and blocks most threats. I also have the lifetime version I bought way back when they did lifetime version.
