reddit is far from dying most subreddits are growing not dying, it is just harder to spam that is what people mean by "Dying" they mean there pissed there finding it hard to make the same money with the same Tactics and getting mad, i think they mean their bank funds are dying not reddit

Could you explain how Reddit is dying? Everybody repeating that reddit is dying, but nobody explains how so Reddit is dying, for me looks like that Reddit is doing better than in the past.

Overall comment and users quality is going to shit. It used to be a very good forum for lots of specific niches, I'm not even talking about spamming them, for learning really. But it's gone to shit. Technical subs for bots, programming, even hobbies stuff like that is now just a ego war and downvote brigades and people in a bad mood venting their frustration on others.

Reddit is unable to monetize itself for some reason and quality is going down fast. Recently they redesigned the whole site and buttons stopped working when you have adblock on, the new interface is impossible to understand.

IMO Reddit is going Digg soon.

On all my accounts, across multiple PCs and browsers, the redesign only displays an error message. "Sorry, we have failed you. Try refreshing!"

I'm still able to use old.reddit.com, for now, but I have no doubt that they'll force everyone onto the redesign sooner or later and alienate half their user base with this error message that the admins claim "doesn't exist".

I hope you read that new design is still in beta? As all software which is in beta, there is bugs. Didn't have any bugs like that on any platform, nor debian, ubuntu - chrome and firefox browser, nor on windows 7 or 10 on all browsers new design works out of the box.

They put new design exactly to attract new users, because of old ugly design(as new users were complaining) exactly what put off many new users, from using Reddit. I changed to new design myself because I like to try new things, first seconds when I saw new design, first thoughts were, that everything just makes sense in new design.
