Scrolling through all the themes, I can't help but snap fingers, pop my eyes and pull my hair out mentally - they develop an anger issue inside me... I'm otherwise super calm by default. A tree fell on my car? Oh, well... what are the chances, right? No biggie... What makes me angry is that there are so many of them, SO MANY CHANCES and they all fail in one way or another. OMFG.
They look horrid. Simply horrid.
Who the actual fuck makes them? There's fucking THOUSANDS of them, literally......... Coders with ZERO sense of anything else??
For every decent element in a theme, there's another one that makes the first useless, rinse and repeat, none of them get it all right. It's like totally randomly put together using stolen elements... This is madness.
And then there are those BEST X THEMES and TOP Y THEMES sites all of them recommending the SAME SHIT THEMES only because they've got a fucking AFFILIATE program!!!!! FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK sake...

- Some bloody FULL screen fucking picture - scroll through a full page of nothingness just to see if maybe they've provided what you were looking for...
- Navigation menu situated GOD knows where - "We made it possible for the visitor to become disoriented and hit the back button in no time!"
- Some out of place disproportionate random pictures everywhere - "LOOK here!!!!" Why? "NO REASON! HAHAHAHAAH!"
- NO FOOTER, but a rather useless sidebar, yea, it's there, 2 of them actually, on each side - !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...Not done yet! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
- SOCIAL SHARES! - LET'S HAVE 30 of them, some DUPLICATES, too, all littered around places! FUCK YEAH, MERICA!

MyThemeShop's Schema theme works good for Amazon affiliate site. Other than that, Genesis theme is good

I know what you mean. Here is what I often do, I use a page builder and I create a landing page the way I want it to be. You can use that to build a whole website it just takes more time...

You could go to flippa, look for Amazon affiliate starter sites, find one you like the look of and then search what theme it is.

But isn't it equivalent to a bloatware? Sure, it can be customized, but it comes with all that unused code which will simply bog things down overall *(I may be wrong with this of course)*.
