How would I go about making something like this?

Hey,

I have an idea that I'm working on, but there's something I would need help with.

So basically I have a lot of files that I'm selling, but I would like to setup a website that lets users pick & choose the files that they want to buy, and then pay for only the files that they have chosen, with a minimum amount of $ (like $5 or something).

Are there any good CMS systems for "pick & choose" digital downloads, or is this something that has to be custom made?

Hmm Sounds like you need a shop. Pretty sure you could use a magento shops, but the other options like woocomerce or shopify should also work.

Yeah, well the files I'm creating are small audio-samples that would cost like $0.01 each or something, so it's pretty hard to get it to look and feel nice with a simple shopping-cart system like for example Shopify. I'm thinking more of a "panel-style" system if there are any available.

Sorry my imagination-skills are poor. What does a panel-style webshop looks like?
Any example sites you could post, or describe the layout. That would surely help me.

Probably the simplest and least expensive route would be to just use Woocommerce or some other WP theme/plugin. These can be customized quite a bit. To get exactly what you're looking for, however, it's likely you'll need to significantly extend whichever solution you end up using (or just have a custom system created).
