How can I optimize Onpage SEO for a custom website?

Hello,
I have made a new website (custom code, not using wordpress or something like that), and I tried to optimize my on page SEO but I'm not sure if I did a good job.

I'm wondering if I can share my website link and maybe get some feedback from some of you guys who know SEO better than I do, would that be Ok?

Generate a sitemap. Optimize the meta description and title to the selected keywords. Also use highly compressed images( recommended : tinypng).

Good job Aria, Focus on some good on page SEO factors like website speed, it should be lighting fast and optimize your title and description and content on web pages should be unique and fresh Because google loves it.

I agree. WordPress with a well built theme (like Genesis 2.x) and Yoast's SEO plugin is more likely to rank better simply because so much happens automatically. It uses HTML5 + Schema.org markup, etc. plus XML site maps, canonical URLs, etc.

When it comes to custom made website, you will need to be careful when editing the code and content.

If you have custom built a site, then there will be so many SEO variables that you will need to look at - I think it would be too much to handle imo.
You'd need to manually set title and meta-descriptions for every page, check structured data (if applicable), you have to manually code your sitemap?, what about canonical links as the best practice, etc.
If WP - you just setup these plugins and fire and forget about it, which saves time in the process. Also, the latest in-thing about mobile searches is AMP - that's a whole new ball game in optimizing and making your site relevant to.
