What is the clout on your account. The clout index is on your profile page next to the page views on the right but you prob knew that . Just curious, I am at a five.

It's based on page views. The more page views you get, the more money you get also.

PPM = Payment Per Thousand Page Views ("M" being the Roman numeral for one thousand). It is the rate we will pay you for every thousand (1,000) page views your content generates.

**Calculated by adding the PPM bonus to the current baseline PPM rate of $1.50, which is subject to change. For example, today a user with 50,000 monthly page views and a Clout Level of 8 will receive $80.00 ($1.60 x 50).

^^^ I think figgity missed the point of the question

My highest is at a clout 9 and should FINALLY be at 10 by next month.

Most of my accounts that aren't brand new are between 5 and 8

Redtide- for accounts with a clout of 9- what is the average payouts per article? Right now at a clout 5 my average is $3.03 but I get offers for $3.33 and $3.89 often. Also any tips for drawing traffic, I am sure hits from other traffic on AC such as fans counts as traffic right? Thanks

I am also curious about the clout question, I believe redtide said he saw the jump to 5/6 per article at clout 7, but cannot remember for sure.

For traffic, I followed and tweaked his guide about using a bunch of twitter accounts, as twitter is good for clicks but not much else.

I am pretty sure the upfront payment increases Seph, but I am not sure how much, I just have heard from other Assoc Cont writers.

3-7 articles form depending on the time. No rewrites as of yet, all handwritten 2-3 hours tops.
