What % is considered 'good' Engagement?

Asking for a friend here. I'm currently running 7-8 Instagram accounts and I'm trying to find out what a good measure of good engagement is.

I'd say most have between 2-3% engagement while one has 7%. I'm not sure if 2-3% are good, or if 7% is average and 2-3% is bad, etc etc

In my opinion 10% and above are all great engagement rate. Obviously it also depends on the size of your account; the bigger it is the lesser engagement you will probably have, so don't take this number too strict.
2-3% is really low also for bigger accounts.

and below 0.5% engagement likely means that you need to realign your messages again.

Thank you guys both for your knowledge. I'm feeling great about that 7% engagement page now...

I could use more opinions on this matter though as the 2 posts differ greatly in terms of whats considered good engagement

as per Instagram , 1% is good. If you can get 10% or 15% then that's the best thing. But that'll not be so easy.
So, as of now & for starting 1% is good enough.

Anything in between 3-10% is okay.

Well it depends really doesn't it. If you only have one follower, then it ain't that good.

Remember also, you really need to take the average of your last 9-12 posts to find the ER. Using your last post isn't really accurate if you do alot of different types of content or post 1+ times a day.
