Please, don't try and make out I'm clueless. Been trading and up until recently mining coins for years. It's a gamble, there is no secret method.
Just because you want something, doesn't make it so.

Better heed Warren Buffet's advice. One my guru's - the best stock market timer on the planet (I pay a lot of money every month to him and he will remain nameless) said Bitcoin was crap at 20K and it's going to zero. Looking at the chart- I said back in January it was over , what a horrendous chart, I would NEVER buy this junk based on it's chart. It would not surprise me if it went below $200 and hang out at that level for decades

Nobody has success mining bitcoin on a regular PC. You need a special hardware for that.

Good is very relative. If it was as simple as getting a "good" computer for some money to earn a good ROI we all would be doing it.
What is good? Specs?

Anyway nothing to earn totally passive income except (to some extent) some alt coins, but then again you and most don't know what the price of those will be in the near future.

Try mining burst coin. It uses your computer memory to mine the coins. It doesn't use that much power. An external hard drive is recommended.

Nothing, wouldn't be mining if it wasn't profitable.
Setup several mining rigs at the end of 2016 just before the ETH mining craze, rig would pay for itself within 6 weeks.

Between the difficulty increases and BTC value dropping, it's no longer worth it UNLESS you plan on holding onto the coins and hoping for it to rocket again.
Quick income, it is not.

Since you know much about computer, find a niche around it like computing such as how to install windows, how to repair faulty laptop etc and then apply your computer power to make money for yourself.
