Instagram brand advertising

Hey do you guys know if it's actually possible to get accepted by brands to advertise they products on IG when buying followers + likes/likes with impressions? And if so, do you know some sites where we should search for brands?

Brands have their own ways of knowing if your engagement and followers are real or bought. So if in case you plan on buying followers/likes, it should be done slow and overtime too to look more real than actual real.

Adding to what Proxified says (and hopefully not derailing your thread) - as a brand owner and member of some of those sites the biggest red flag for me is the generic messages. Write something unique that shows that you have actually looked at their feed/ website and also follow them/ like their posts to show some interest.

Yes is it possible. Some youtube channel did it and they became around 20 dm from brands that wanted a promo. (their account only had ~ 20k followers)

If you want to deal with brands, don't buy likes, followers or comments. Period!

You will need to turn your Instagram into a Business Account so that the brands can look at your stats from the inside. Thus, fakes will just get you permanently banned by them.

Work hard, get real followers, likes and comments.

Faking it no longer works, unless your BFF works in the influencer department of that particular brand, and they look the other way while you fake it.

I totally agree with that, but loads of small time 'influencers' satisfy their egos and get a few freebies doing it, so it depends what you're aiming for.

It was funny before the API change - like they didn't even know about Social Blade - I'd see accounts getting a 5k follower bump in a day on a <50k account after a post with double figure likes. They got some work with the usual mugs - new bars opening, promo events in high street chain stores etc - all cheap and short term stuff.

Yeah, and even those that would get 100+ daily followers, but their likes and comments remained the same. There are some dumb agency agents out there, but most know their stuff and how to double check.

Of course, until we get rid of the BFFs giving them job after job, the ones that do it the right way, won't get compensated properly. It's a lose-lose situation when the ones doing the hiring, knowingly allow influencers to play the game.
