Sorry to say this... But dose not surprise me, try and follow 30 people and they will slam you, they made
Pinterest a joke, this is going to interfere with their popularity, dam fools if you ask me. Normal users
are getting blocked just by normal usage. I have seen this type of behavior from other social networking sites
in the past, they rolled it back fast though. They must have a newbie at the head of the spam team.

You should get an email from pinterest telling you your account has been suspended with a link to appeal if you think it was done in error. Click on the link you should get your account restored back after they review it

You posted this on Tuesday, that was the 15th. It was a massacre right after it hit 00:00. Two of my main domains got banned; I spoke with some friends who operate on the network - banned as well. Anything even remotely connected to spam got banned immediately.

Now, I actually am sort of guilty as charged, but it's still pretty harsh to slam a bunch of domains without any warning. At least Facebook was giving warnings back at the time, they could block you from posting in groups for a week or something.

Pinterest? Nothing. Now you're here, next thing you know - you're out. No questions asked.
If someone wants to discuss what happened in more details, DM me, I'm up for it!

Just FYI, it's possible to get a domain removed from their blacklist. If you've ever interacted with their support, you know they can be dicks, but if you get lucky and get a nice person, and I guess if you make up a good story and whatever they see on their end regarding your domain doesn't look too bad, they'll unban your domain. It's worth a try at least, the worst they can do is tell you no.

One strategy to consider, if you really were spamming a lot/etc., is waiting a while (6 months? 1 year?) and then claiming that you just bought the domain and then found out it's blacklisted on Pinterest. They might give you the benefit of the doubt and unban it.

Thanks, that's a really useful tip. I already contacted them for both domains, unfortunately they said that they were reported as spam and that they won't be removing them from the blacklist. I don't know if it's worth appealing again, hoping to reach a 'nicer' one... Would you suggest I try it again?

How do you know that a domain has been banned on Pinterest? I am asking because I had one of my Pinterest account banned for spamming. I intend to open another account and to promote the same domain but I don't know if the domain was banned along side the previous account. Thanks

If it leads to the article on your website, it's fine.
If it shows you this, then it's time for brainstorming.

If it leads to the article on your website, it's fine.
If it shows you this, then it's time for brainstorming.

Thanks but from what I know, as soon as an account is suspended or banned, the pins from that account are no longer shown on boards. So how do you get/locate your old pin to check?

Then just add a new one. Upload an image on any account you have - it doesn't even have to be an existing one, make a new account and upload an image, connect it to your website and see what happens.

Nice, I will do that. But with this banning of domains by Pinterest going on do you think re-directing to your main domain is better? Does that help?

It is a short-term solution, I am currently looking into it. I've tried redirecting with Tumblr, but once Pinterest realizes that you're using a redirecting link, it usually bans the account and the images right away.

I am currently exploring making a redirecting link through Google + - I read somewhere it's safer. If anyone knows how to do this, I'd appreciate the help.
If not, I'll make sure to post my research outcome here once I know something more.

I have always heard from the Best Marketers. They do farm their account very well and get in solid reputation before they post any link and gradually scale in farming period. The nitro comes after a month and links as well.

I think best i start having and practicing patience and use bots to automate the work that looks like Human
