Hi all of you,
im currently re-building the website of our car-owner club (old BMW Baur cabriolets) and im stuck. I search for a Wordpress theme that is lightweight and can handle a little forum and 50 info sub pages in total.
Currently we are stuck at OneLine Lite because most of us like the design of that theme. in addition to that we thought Tortuga could be nice as well because it loads faster. Maybe some of you could help us out with this problem and give us some advise which similar theme we could use.
Furthermore i want to ask about plugins: is buddypress a good mamagement plugin for members and whats a simple forum plugin? We cannot spent cash for plugins and stuff because we are doing this without commercial intents. Maybe someone could help us here with some advise as well.
Its not that important for us to rank at the very top in search results but we want to provide every owner to this magnificent cars a informative website that looks nice and dont need to load 8 seconds.
