Where Are These Views Coming From?

When I check my Instagram insights for my posts I notice a lot of them have the majority of impressions coming from “Other”. Where could this be from?

As well, I’m wondering how I have a reach of 835,000 yet this video only has a bit over 400,000 views.

The discrepancy in views vs reach/impressions comes from people being served your content(Reach/Impressions) but not staying and watching for long enough or just scrolling right by.

I've seen news articles embedding IG posts but I'm not entirely sure you could find out where it's been posted. Maybe add a CTA to the title, then ask a couple people where they found the post.
