Niche websites, especially ecommerce types, have a very focused topic to discuss on. For those of you making some money off it, how many articles do you currently have and how do you come up with topics to discuss on?

For example, you have a website selling grandma's underwear. What kind of topic do you discuss about and how many of that articles' title contains the word "grandma's underwear"?

On one of my sites connected to a dropshipping store, I have 8 articles and do a new one every month.

I usually start out with 30 - 50 articles and then an article a day for at least a month or two.

I tend to look on forums and news sites to see what conversations are occurring about the subject for article ideas.

I normally start out with 10, and you can also additionally populate the first page with related products as well, to make it look diverse.
Then every 2-3 days add 1 more article each as we progress. These articles should be related to the products that you are serving on your site, so that you will get to hit long-tail keywords as well.
And never stop in building links, as that will help buildup site authority as well.

All articles are about the same keyword(s) (the kw you want to rank for ) or are in the context of your niche?
1 article per keyword, a few related support articles for each keyword though. But hundreds of main articles (not counting support articles).

I get LSI keywords for my secondary keywords and I create at least 3-5 articles per main keyword. I use 1% keyword density and I use 5-8 secondary keywords per main keyword.

what you mean with support articles?

Articles supporting the main content - if I want to rank "toasters" I will have plenty of articles surrounding toasters, that links back to my main content. Gives Google a sense of trust and authority rather than if a page would have 1 page per topic.

clear.

How you get the inspiration of writing hundreds articles, most of them are very similar i guess?
Can i see one of your websites to get an idea?

thanks for your time

I have a website with 3-4 articles. Was created in 2010 and still I get some views there. And you got some weird choices as example. :)
