Hey, have anyone tried to dropship only 1 product that you are confident in and make it look 'professional' like a legit startup? :D (Since 1 product is much easier when it come to store designs, writing good description, images, and such)

Tell us your experiences!

I have never tried to sell one in particularly but I really think it's up to you.
Personally I find it easier to have a small amount of products to focus more on the marketing/ads.

How many product are you considered as 'small'?

you need a private supplier, and a good product, so you can focus only on 1 instead of many...

Yeah, I heard that people tests like 100 product per day just to find a winning one. Will single product store considered as risky since we can't test other products?

i think that the best way to start is build a general store, and test many product with different traffic... and based on that general store...you build another niche store, or single product...since that product already tested ...

I got some adjustable posture correctors in from a supplier in china. Sent it to Amazon FBA and have been selling them. They have my logo on them and I'm sorta acting like a brand. I'm about to also get some other health products in with this micro brand of mine.

It's getting saturated but I made my funds back and some profit.

Have just researched some new products and will start a new buy and test in a few weeks.

Advertised with a video ad on facebook showing someone wearing it. "Tag who needs this" type of ad. That carried people to my landing page. That landing page shot them to the Amazon listing. I have only 7 bad reviews but 200 positive so this is a good journey.

So how long does it take to get your product ready? And how much did it cost? (since you have to pay upfront for you provider with a bulk purchase right?)
And, you use PPE ads on your campaign?

Adjustable posture correctors costed me $1,500 for 300 of them. Took 2 weeks to get to Calafornia Amazon warehouse.

Amazon ads costed me $200 and I stopped that because my facebook ad was doing better for me. Had around $1,000 on the facebook ad (Pay per impressions because this was a video ad). I was paying Amazon to ship everything with a $30 monthly fee. I used their warehouses and logistics. I love that one day shipping and also free shipping for the prime members on Amazon. That's why I used FBA.

Made a little over $4,000 in two months, but the market is so saturated now for that product that I stopped selling that product. I got Amazon to send me the rest of my stock and I started giving them away locally, but then had a surprise shipment of them hit the CA warehouse. Totally forgot about that purchase. When I was getting 15 sales a day I bought another batch thinking I was going to be some millionaire.

I have a few new products on mind. This experience let me know you can score sales on Amazon but if people saturate your niche/product then you lose sales and people buy so many upfront like 10,000 units so they can lower their price to beat Wal-Mart prices and that's what killed this for me.

Like at the moment I am looking at this one product that might not get too saturated but maybe get me steady sales.

Thank you for your detailed answer ;)

Do you think people will wait 21 days for a product to come to their hands? Bc if yes, we will save a tons of money (by not paying upfront) but the trade off is customer satisfaction.

I've had a shopify shop dropshipping and I had a few customers want refunds because the product was taking to long to be delivered and the product was $50 and I sold it at $100.

The refunds and charge backs hurt me a lot and I decided to sell my operation to one of my online friends who says it's still "okay".

If you're selling to some picky women then you are rolling a bolder up a hill.

Be sure you are selling cheap items. Maybe find some products on aliexpress that are trending. You could just use wordpress because shopify charges you a lot.

What might work is the "Adjustable Posture Corrector" shop using WordPress and just doing seo and maybe some small ppc. Then you can dodge Amazon, but if you're selling on Amazon and your product takes forever but is a cheap price then it's fine. People just don't want to pay $100 and wait forever.

I have done this and I have had some success with it

Anything can be sold if you presell them right :) I had success only selling 1 product (isnt this what CPA offers are as well)?

Want more reply on this topic :D Bumpp

Im sorry but if it takes someone 100 tests to find a single profitable product then that person is an absolute idiot and you should get as far away from their advice as you can.

A good ratio for even a beginner would be 1 out of 10. If you know what you’re doing 1 in 5
