Anyone Tried Advertising With AdFly?

Hey guys, so a couple months ago I came across AdFly. It is quite interesting how they are working. Basically one can advertise his website / landingpage for 5 seconds. They charge $5 for 10.000 page views. Sounds pretty good. However, I wonder if the traffic is converting.

Does anyone have any experience with them?

You first have to get clicks, relevant clicks. And before that, get relevant impressions. You could easily show 10k times on irrelevant sites and you'd get no clicks for your $5. Conversions are dependent more on your landing page, not your ad or the network.

Yes URL shortener traffic CAN convert. It boils down to how persuasive your copy is. It's AT LEAST 5 seconds, not just 5 seconds. If the viewer likes what they see, they'll likely stay on the page for longer. Either way it's a great way to promote brand awareness and get cheap traffic. You need to know how to make people take action though. People act based on emotions - NOT logic. If you can trigger an arousal emotion you can command them to do as you wish and a percentage of them WILL follow suit.

Yep you can target by geolocation and by category. I've had great results with some landing pages for affiliate marketing product offers. If you aren't getting conversions stop what you're doing and invest one full day of your time to read a book on effective copywriting. There is a "magic wand" in internet marketing .... Knowledge is POWER. Don't blindly write landing page copy - it will NEVER convert like you're hoping. I don't care WHAT your traffic source is. I consider remarketing my best source of traffic, then my newsletters, then PPC. But the point is - you need to understand fully what drives someone to take action. Then you'll see your conversions skyrocket from ALL of your traffic sources. Mark my words!

Thing with those link shorteners is that you can be almost 100% sure that it wont be a bot traffic. Yes, there are still some noobs who are trying to earn on it with bot traffic, but without a click on skip ad there is no money so they give up. So mostly traffic is real, people are real... but they are interested in a thing that is behind that ad, so only if your offer is enough interesting, you might get their attention.
