Good question.
There is no good alternative to capitalism that doesn't end in a godawful horrorshow.

- Feudalism sucks
- Communism/marxism has killed hundreds of millions of people? Communism didn't improve the lives of hundreds of millions of Chinese in under a decade. That was capitalism.
Capitalism (with a bit of socialism) has it's flaws, but it's the least shitty option.
