Heavy Ranking Drops After Google Core Update? | Share your Experience

Hello guys!

What experiences have you had within the past month? Until the past 3 weeks my rankings were

I got a pretty heavy google dance going on, but overall almost 50% visibility loss across like 80% of my sites.

This kind of is the first time I'm affected by an update this heavily.

How are your experiences and are you going to wait it out or make some changes? And if yes, what are you going to do?

Last few days my rankings have dropped off a cliff. Some have gone down as far as 70 but on average most of them have gone down 20ish. Is this update a reason?

Lost about 45% of traffic and it's unfortunate that shitty sites rank higher. I've tracked some pages and keywords that suddenly rank higher as a result of this update and started building links to the pages already.

Very mixed experience. Mostly the websites were climbing in the serps. One website fell into a delirium and all keywords disappeared, later came back into the Top 5, but for now disappeared again. Another websites rankings are dancing, literally changing every 10 minutes.

Same here for some keywords, from 4 to 80.. and kw losed integrity, so google find kw on category page.. btw kw was stable for three months on #4

Mine is the opposite. Most of my keywords were on page 4 since April 28 and then shoot up again on top 3 since May 6. That’s for new sites. For old sites SERP are steady and settled.

Same here.

Got totally obvious and blatant feckn link wheels and avalanches of backlinks shooting sites from nowhere with super thin content (although high relevance), but still shit content.

Pretty much the exact same experience for me. My ranking were stable and slowly climbing up the Top-10, but now there is complete havoc going on every single day

Nothing change in the rankings. Traffic improved earning improved in google adsense.
But noted a huge drop in Ahrefs rankings.

For some reason my most aged domains, with lots of quality links and content are dropping like crazy, while the few fresh sites with barely any quality links or content are developing just fine.

W the heck is going on here

core quality update. Google keeps fucking around with us releasing these stupid updates every other month. Mine went up in March's core update but went down in April's update. It's like a fucking high school relationship where its good for one month and turns to shit the next month.
