Looking for advice on what to do next

I have organically grown an account to almost 40k followers. At one point I was getting 150-200 followers a day without doing anything aside from posting once every 2 days but when I hit around 34k my follower rate suddenly dropped to 30/40 a day. Recently I've been Following/Unfollowing to get the number up again as well as trying to increase engagement. My long-term plan is to open a shop but at the moment I'm earning about $250 a month through shoutouts.

I suppose my main two questions are
Should I start botting or is it too much of a risk considering I've got this far without one?
and
is there any other advice/suggestions people can offer if they think that would be better than what I am currently doing?

Well if you wanna run it on automation mode then do it with something safe.And i think try something different with your posts maybe it may work

Hello guys, i saw this thread but don't know if this is right for me to ask here. What kind of freebies is more appropriate for building an email list for affiliate marketing products? I'll be glad for any swift response.
