Hello From 35,000 Ft

Safe travels. Hope you don't crash and burn, like most airplane passengers lately have experienced.
Lol, most? Look at the stats it's still by far safer than driving a car. Also, from just seeing these idiots drive here I can guarantee you the chances of dying on the road here(and pretty much anywhere for that matter) are definitely higher than in a plane.

Yeah US airlines are just pathetic in comparison with others. I like business as it is more space and more luagge, 1st is not appealing to me and if so I'd suggest doing one with Singparore suites etc (although you need Krisflyer) or LH (again only M&M miles) or emirates etc..

Yeah I know the other day had J for $1,400 round trip to europe vs $7-800 in economy and of course the more flexible you are the more you can get good deals.
I like RIO more than GRU, but the flight we got was just a good deal
EU-US
US-GRU
GRU-US
US-EU

over 5 months so that worked very well and would not have been much if any cheaper in economy at all.

Have to realize the US just has no cheap flights compared to other countries so here you need the CC stuff (which is obviously not what the banks want and thus getting harder)
Couldn't agree more, but when your mileage plan charges 5k more to go from Business to First, why not? (Haha you see the exploit there, their pricing table makes no sense). And 3 years ago, American had a glitch for a few hours on our country, instead of multiplying the fare USD x our currency, they were dividing, so we could travel in first RT GRU-DFW-GRU for like $150 along with other routes.

I'm from Rio, but I usually go to GRU first because of availibility and also because all flights with "First" to the US depart from GRU only. GRU also has some insane deals if you have Priority Pass or Lounge Key, like giving you $50 to spend at restaurants, etc.

Safe travels. Hope you don't crash and burn, like most airplane passengers lately have experienced.

Hope you don't crash and burn like all the cars crashing lately. Get real dude. (I'm also a student pilot by the way ;)).

Oh wow, a real live student pilot.

Have you ever driven a car? Stat's be dammed. I have driven over one million miles with no issues. Are you saying it would be safer for YOU to fly me in a plane?
Statistics of dying in an airplane (you referred to AIRLINE passengers not general aviation) are ALWAYS lower than the same stats for deaths in a car (driving, passenger etc.).
How often did general aviation airplanes crash mid-air? Now, how often do cars crash and not both parties are at fault?

Last I checked anybody in the US can get a driver's license without needing lessons (I mean driving an automatic..), vs. needing flight lessons to get a general aviation license

Actually, they just crashed in my area. Maybe 12 hours ago. Weird that plane pilots think the way they think.

OK. now how many passengers?
Now, how many deadly car crashes in your area? When was the last time a car crash killing a few people made national news? Now a plan with a few hundred on board will make the news and make it appear as man this is dangerous...

Again, there are years of stats out there...
Just think about it , how many deadly crashes in NYC each day? OK, now how many deadly airplane crashes EVERY DAY for the same volume (so NYC drivers vs plan passengers)?

It is pretty simple to understand why flying is safer than driving in average

scamming mother fucker. The card says bank of AMERICA, not bank of NIGERIA. Get back quick to your country, and wish you were still here. This isn't a forum to scam for miles.
Not cool! What is it with these insults just when someone points out FACTS vs. feelings...
Again just because you do not understand how to take advantage of these offers (since you do not fly) does not make it a scam (again maybe check the definition of a scam vs. BH)

You are right. I am naturally skeptical. I meant no offense.

You did not insult me, better apologize to the OP. It's good to be skeptical but you need to do your own research before insulting people or insisting others are wrong because YOU FEEL you are right. Can accept being proven wrong by facts, but hearsay or feelings do not count as facts

Lets get this straight....I am right, no hearsay, or if's and's or but's. I'm sick of the argument. Your facts, and high-stepping are laughable. I could give a fuck.
LOL, typical ignorant .... You know the cool thing about facts is that they are NOT MINE , not biased compared to your stuff.

I checked some South American airlines and they appear to allow people from USA to sign up to their reward programs.
