Hentai Artist probing for ideas

Hi all.

So I've just recently turned to drawing primarily NSFW/hentai art and getting serious about monetization.

Here's a sample to better get an idea of my art style. It's a sketch I did on Friday I believe. I haven't finished her clothes but they are removable so I can have different versions:

I've been on DeviantArt for 5+ years, but from a long term perspective it's actually not a very profitable place. I've made money in the past through commission, but I've only had one $200+ and 1 $400+ commission there, and they were years apart. Most people are kids who either can't or won't spend more than a few bucks, and I don't draw custom art that cheap.

Anyway my idea was to start a hentai centered Patreon and do popular and suggested fanart with my own characters on occasion (the girl above is one of mine. Can also draw males). The problem is I didn't have a very big following on DeviantArt, and many aren't interested in hentai so I'm basically starting over. That's when I found this place.

I was thinking about using some of the ideas here to grow a Twitter following and direct them to my new Patreon. I'm now also considering Instagram too (I originally ruled them out due to the strict nudity rules).

Are there any tips or other suggestions you could give me? Does this sound like a decent plan? I'd greatly appreciate any new ideas and perspectives

Wow, you have a good art, they have a slight resemblance to those of Melkor Mancin (Investigate about this, I saw them in my adolescence, I think he's still doing that kind of thing).

You say you're a girl, it's funny to see a girl in these things, how old are you?

Was promoting hentai before and it was pretty darn hard to monetize and I did try adult CPA offer to content locking big pack of images... I guess you could do personalized hentai drawings (if anybody is even interested in this) who knows what kind of fetish some people have

Try to go with Tumblr that stuff is allowed there and people go crazy.

Thank you! But where I'm from it's not polite to ask a lady her age (I just turned 27 lol)

I've seen a lot of people doing very well on Patreon with hentai actually! My problem is getting traffic to it... I do have a Tumblr from years ago, but it's so hard for me to get any interaction there so I ended up just using it for memes :/

Sadly I just don't have the attention span for it. One page little things I can do, but I couldn't maintain a longer story.

I can respect that. Another advantage is that you learn skills and build things that are more valuable in future JV.

I get what you meant. What I mean is, how would drawing that for you make me any money? If I'm doing basically a commission, then I always get paid at least half first. Otherwise I'm drawing for free and using time I could be spending elsewhere.

I don't doubt you know what you're doing more than I do, you've been here longer. But I'd need you to explain how that would work because I can't see it right now :/
