I just started an IG account and tried posting my first image. I've tried three different images and all posts have been taken down within 5 seconds of being posted. What am I doing wrong here? This is my first time using IG.

Maybe It's because I don't have any followers? Do I need followers for my posts to stick?

But I'm posting through the mobile app?

Bump. Anyone ever have this happen? I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

It is happening to me when I try to upload picture on PC through "google chrome device toggle". Just try to upload picture on mobile.

Yeah, I've tried both ways. Does the photo need to be a jpeg?

I would assume your content is original and is not lewd. You may post .png or .jpg, but what's interesting is it being removed immediately. Have you checked your email and confirmed your account?

I've recently had this issue. I suspect it has something to do with IG associating your account as being a spam account.
I was attempting to upload a video that I have posted on other IG accounts, with a similar caption. It was a fresh account, with 0 followers and the posts were being taken down within a few seconds of being posted.

I ended up abandoning the account.

Read his posts... He´s already doing it through his mobile!

looks like your ip .

did you make the image , if not you need to change the image id .

It’s usually spammy to post on IG without followers....it’s like who you talking to ?

And are the posts copyrighted? They get taken down fast.

In the beginning you should follow like then post ....I also think Instagram is going through a change.

Even if you're not spamming on the accounts, I suggest you warm them up first.

Follow 10 a day, then up the number by 5-10 every day until you're following about 70 people per day.

That process should have gained you some follow backs and now Instagram is convinced that, for now, you're not a bot.

Then you can post all you'd like. :)

I also experienced the same exact thing. my account is not new, just dont have many follower.
Some post taken down, some post stays. what i posted is just a screenshot from my phone, all of them. some get deleted, some survive.
I have no idea why.

That makes sense, I'll try that thanks.

Did you figure it out?

I honestly think its Instagram changing.

This has happened to me recently.
