I wanted to start a micro niche website. I saw a lot of tutorials on youtube. But as the tuts were back from 2015-16, I am a little skeptical about it. I have a few Questions. Help would be appreciated :)

1) Does Micro-niche website still make money?
2) What should be the minimum CPC of my main keyword?
3) How important is silo structure?
4) And How to do Keyword Research? (Any Free Method to do keyword difficulty Research?)

1) if u only have 1 site its not enough, but if u have a few hundred or thousand MNS its worth it :)

I am also looking for same questions answer. I want to start with 3-5 sites depending on my budget.

Does Micro-niche website still make money?
Yes! Still works well. If you pick the good profitable niche with low competition.

2) What should be the minimum CPC of my main keyword?
Try to find $3+ CPC with low competition. Low competition is very important for ranking and earning as well.

4) And How to do Keyword Research? (Any Free Method to do keyword difficulty Research?)
I think keyword revealer tool offers 5 times to check the competition.

My recommendation - Best build only one quality website.

Why not look to make your micro niche site into an authority site over time?

Thank you for such informative answers,
*Also, Can u tell me more about keyword difficulty research, I saw some video of doing keyword research using Moz chrome plugin with "PA" in mind. Can u tell me more about this?
*Is SEOQuake a good chrome plugin to find out link juice.?
*I watched a lot of videos and came to the conclusion that if results in the 1st page have Youtube videos or Facebook and Twitter pages are easier to rank.
*Also if the 1st page of Google with that keyword has PA less than 40 is fairly easier to rank.
*And if some websites in google search have a lot of link juice it is harder to rank.?

Piles of qsns actually hope u will have some spare time to answer. And thanks u already helped.

I get what you want to say. I am looking to try out some micro niche websites and then when I got to know more about keyword research, SEO, backlinks and stuff I would move to authority websites.
Can u share some ideas about keyword research, how to determine if a keyword is worth working for?

Not only PA. Lots of factors to check the keyword difficulty.

No, this is wrong. Depends what we call MNS though - generally speaking the difference between a MNS and an authority site is effort. More content, more work, more it transforms in to something more valuable. I have a site that does 2.5k a month individually with ~300k visitors and growing about 6% month over month. I monetize in multiple ways and I dont promote any crap affiliate stuff. It's all ads/donations/sale of ebooks (inhouse) and some products with Amazon commission that I dont actively push. It's pretty niche, but it has a lot of super high quality content (I mean like $250 posts every few weeks) and over a few years built up authority. I have other sites trending in that direction too. IMO you should focus on growing 1-5 sites big than 100-200 small, which are more liable to get slapped and are harder to manage. I know people making a killing with thousands of sites too, but I prefer going narrow and deep for the long term.
