Except your mother ,and father upto some extent ,nothing is called real love/affection there is something called need /expectation
when you do something which they expect you are good and real ,when you dont do to specific person you are bad ,thats it

Sad thing is, when you make a million, and people hear about it they switch up.

Reality of the world now days everyone would rather be friends with the "rich famous kid" then a good genuine person.

i feel you man i remember i had that good friend before i left Greece , so anyway i left Greece 4 years ago during those 4 years we've been talking a lot and i mean a looooot !!

so here and 5 months im back at Greece i called that friend to hang out she said she is busy... ok perhaps another time
i called her again after a few days again busy... my innocent self kicked in and i thought she might be indeed busy
so i call her again after some days guess what ?
busy again !

and we live same city xD
and suddenly i get in a bus and i see her passing... she sees me she just waves and goes and sits with some strangers when besides me was a free seat....

it was that moment i realized the advice a lot of fellow BHW members gave you.. "friends come and go"
so i just moved one got some new friends now pretty cool !
It's not hard making friends (making good friends is the hard part )

Actually I just wanted to post something else.

I'm 17 and have moved countries, therefore I can relate so much to this post above.

Second of all, I wasn't expecting at all any affection from this community. I felt like I was just going to be made fun of, which was really surprising and wholesome.

Finally, I would just like to tell everyone that I have archived this thread. So in a few years, when I'm up above and have some good friends and am living a great life, you will all be in my heart. Sounds cheesy but true. That was fucking wholesome boys.

Life has a way of happening man. I can only count on one hand now the friends I have now, real friends. Shit maybe half a hand! People move on in life, different jobs, get married, have kids. It happens, but there a long life to live. I got married, but we do not and will not have children, all of our friends with children now do not really associate with us because well.. we're not that kid friendly .

You could always pay for a friend, or as I like to call them... therapists.

But seriously , do what you enjoy , and learn to enjoy alone and thats the most natural way to meet people , those who share same hobbies and pretentions in life will become more long term people who will stay by ur side.

I think this thread should be pinned because a lot of us who work online from home faces the same thing and get depressed and such, so it would help any new member of the forum to get motivation.
