Google: Residential Proxies vs Private Datacenter!

If you use a VPS for creating your own datacenter IPs:

Will Google be able to spot that it is datacenter IPs and not residential?

The VPS's used can be from different hosts. For having different c blocks and locations.

I wonder how some companies can/could be able to scam people claiming that their datacenter IPs are residential.

I've got some clients using my IP's with adwords. They are 4g IP's. So maybe look for those?

You can detect data center range easily using the free IP geolocation service such as https://www.ip2location.com

They have all ranges registered under data center ranges. It is just as simple as matching a database.

The 4G IP address looks promising using mobile carrier as a temporary proxy.

Yeah 4G IP's can work. VPN's are going to be easy to detect as non res.

No matter 3g or 4g. They should be from ISP not datacenter. Only thing that can vary is speed.

I'm no network proffesional but aren"t you always coming from your VPS data center subnet? So like AWS US east for amazon. I should just do a tracert on an instance.

Google looks a lot into requests per IP per day. Once you are over around 300 req/IP/day, they start captcha's and if you continue to be active, that can ban that IP. Using residentials enables you not to be flagged, but it is hard to scale your oprations

Why would it be hard to scale operations? Couldn't you simply just buy more residential proxies to scale out? However, I noticed that residential proxies are about 5X more expensive, so your income has to exceed this.
