How it went closing your first seo deal with a local business or company?

How you reached them, how many contacts you had before closing, what was your approach, was it through cold calling, cold email etc.

I think it would be really helpful to know as many experiences

Let say 1/50 — That should give an idea of how closing could be a little tasky —

Best approach (Warm Visiting :smirk:) I’ve found to be successful is visiting your target and not directly pitching to them on first meet .

Let say a restaurant - Get visit the place 2-3 times and making eye contacts and engagement during your visits — You want to try as much as possible to create rapport with owner .

Pitching comes easier getting through the rapport stage and mostly convert to a lead .

Do you still provide blog commenting and such to your clients?

yes, why not, but it take time to get approved from moderators, It is very hard work and tough process because to write unique and informative comment and link provided in the "Name" box only on the user names.

When starting out as a freelance or full time SEO Specialist there are a couple things you need to have in place before you start. These tips are to get you a SEO job or client and fill your work schedule up fast when you start.

How to quickly get a good answer:
  • Keep your question short and to the point
  • Check for grammar or spelling errors
  • Phrase it like a question
