whats the backend like, why does the updates needs downtime @Diamond Damien.

We do most updates while the forum's up and running. Sometimes it needs to come down for a short time while they're implemented and tested. Regardless, we'll keep it available as much as possible and try to limit downtime to only short periods when it's absolutely necessary.
