I'm getting emails like this every day. http://prntscr.com/j5ulp7

Random people are offering guest posts in garbage websites. They often emphasize that their sites have high DA. But DA is not the only metric which I watch. In 99% all their sites are complete garbage, and will not bring you any benefits but can harm your site.

That's why I am always doing my own outreach to real bloggers. Here are the 9 things I am checking before even thinking to offer them my guest post.

1) Check DA
2) Trust Flow & Citation Flow Ratio
3) Alexa Ranking
4) Alexa Geo - which countries the traffic comes from
5) Does your target site rank well in Google?
6) Does your target site have good backlinks?
7) Do they allow ******** links in the article?
8) Check the engagement the website gets
9) Check their social media pages

Not really. If you look again, you can see that my "link" is not even a link (not clickable).

The points are absolutely correct to judge a website for a quality link.

I would like to add another point:

- The site must not be posting all posts for guest post links purpose. That means the website must have own contents. Which clearly define the website is not building for guest post purpose only.

I Think Your given checklist is ok for the choose a site for guest posting. thanks

how do you check the engagment rate that the website?

Also if it's a new website willing to rank, do you esclude it?

If I'm doing guest posting, I would do it for the traffic instead of back linking. If you're doing for rankings, you're better off purchasing some PBNs.

Really? Can you tell me how much money do you spend to rent a PBN link?

Start from the most popular. Submit a guest post to a lot of blogs, because only a small number will replay you. You can don't send them all material just a small part.
