Well i dont think Moz PA DA are reliable metrics to judge the power of domains, i was doing some scraping few days ago, and found an awesome domain, i check in moz and it it shows PA DA 20 & 11 and only 3 referring domains,
I leave that domain, by chance i checked it on Ahrefs yesterday and it shows DR 28 with more then 200 referring domains,
Bad thing is domain was already registered now.
And i am blaming myself why i trust on moz.

What you guys think are the best metrics to check domains with reason.

Based on what you wrote there, I guess the answer is checking with multiple tools - for example moz, majestic and ahrefs and then work out an average RD for example.

And of course manual checks on the actual linking domains.

Yes you are right, multiple tools are good way, and at least Ahref because i have read somewhere that they have huge amount of data in the world after google...

I like Ahrefs and always check http and https variants.
