Optimizing Adsense Ads on my Blog

Forgive me if this is the wrong spot to post this. Admins feel free to move this post if necessary.

So today I was looking on Flippa, under the "buying" websites section. I was thinking about getting into the whole website investment game and wanted to check out the market. I was looking at a bunch of websites that were up for sale and in the descriptions the sellers were stating things like "Website made $200 last month via Adsense" --

So I proceeded to dig a little further and I saw that some of the sellers posted a screenshot of their analytics (for the previous month). I was stunned to see that their monthly traffic was under 10k. I currently have a blog that actually doubles their monthly traffic and I struggle to make $30 per month.

Does this mean that I've not got my ads placed in the right areas of my blog? I was wondering if anybody who knows more about this than me would be willing to take a look at my blog and possibly give me some feedback on my ad placement? - If these websites on Flippa can make $200+ with under 10k visitors per month, then surely I can optimize my blog a little better.

I would still appreciate some quick feedback on my ad placement though, I feel like I could be juicing out a little more than just $30 per month.
