cheap hosting recommendations please

I myself have been considering whether there is any good/cheap hosting that offers dedicated IPs. Im planning on starting multiple blog (wordpress)/affiliate marketing (bans?) sites. Is it really necessary to acquire a dedicated for each over shared IPs which I supposed what most cheap hosting are offering. Any recommendations pros would be appreciated cos Im quite noob at this seo thing? Thx.

Netfirms do provide dedicated IPs - i think it's like an extra 1 or 2 bucks per month. For SEO stuff, this forum has a lot of good post around.

When paying for unique ips check to make sure they aren't part of the same class c block (basically only different last digit). Some firms do this.

But netfirms promo proved me wrong. I would tend to agree with you - the price is ridiculously low...

Lowest with any dect hosting specs ...is maybe $4.95-$6.95

But netfirms promo is a whopping $10 for the whole year. I am sure the next year is charged at teh full price of that plan ....which is $120 annually.
