How do i use a VPN in my VPS?

Hello guys,
I need to use a vpn in my vps but obviously when i turn it on windows RDP loses the connection to the vps, i tried to use teamviewer, anydesk or aeroadmin but they all give problems when i switch to the vpn.
Does someone know how can i solve this?

So you're changing your IP of the VPS using a VPN? Are there certain applications that you are using that just need the VPN or do you need the entire VPS to use a VPN? If its just a program i.e. browser, just use the VPN configuration. I've never setup a VPS to use a VPN connection, but would assume it would disconnect the RDP session when the network settings change.

Check whether your provider offers you a VNC or KVM (Keyboard, Video & Mouse).

If you are running the VPN on your VPS you will need to use a VPN provider who will port-forward the RDP port. If you are connecting to your VPS via a VPN and this is happening, just start the VPN before running the RDP client.

Again, Ask your Server provider whether they offer VNC or KVM as well.

I got a VPS using a VPN and I connect to it using a virtual KVM/IP (via VNC I can control the VPS like if I was in front of it).
