Possible to make multiple Proxies from home server

Hello!

My goal is to ultimately have 100s of bots on each social platform, (twitter, instagram, youtube, pinterest, etc)

I see many people buy proxies, but is it possible to create a server from home and host multiple proxies there? I'm at the early stages of python but just need to know if this is even possible, or would I have to make a new server for each proxy? There's gotta be a way to make a website think the traffic it's receiving is coming from somewhere else.

I feel like I haven't elaborated enough on what I want so I'll answer questions as they come.

The usual setup is using proxies. One (or more Server) behind a proxy. The main reason is to change the ip adress. Social Networks are very good at detecting potential harm. If you use tor (anonymous, rotating proxy) most likely all of the created Accounts will need a phone verification After the First Login. In your case i guess it would be faster to buy PVA Accounts instead of creating them.

Only thing that you need is a bunch of private or shared IP-adresses. For most of us there are only few options to get IPs.
1. Your Internet Service Provider (at least 1 IP maybe even changing every reconnect or 24h or ... Problem with changing ips you can‘t validate the accounts etc.)
2. Using Proxy (shared, private, rotating,...)
3. using mobile phones with prepaid datavolume and use the phone to create a hotspot.

the mobile phone option sounds effective. Is it cheaper to buy a bunch of sim cards than to buy a bunch of proxies? I've read here that mobile phones work better than proxies when signing up to instagram.

Different approaches. The mobile way got some advantages but in Most countries a Sim Card and according devices aren‘t Cheaper then a bunch of proxies.
The proxy way is far better documentend so you will find help easier. The mobile way needs some experience in hard/software systems and network configurations to get it running smoothly
