lbry.io

yes, I am using this on windows.
everytime i use this it sync with block chain,
many people are uploading video here, but most video are about Blockchain and stuff. actually not much content is not LBRY,

IN LBRY the videos are on bloackchain network, so you wont have an option to view in 360/580/720/1080 - it will automitalically play in one quality uploaded.
it actually get downloaded. and stay on pc

LBRY coin was around $1 in dec 2017, but coin value is not the focus.
they are little like speemit for videos, as you are playing video, you can actally tip the creator. also you can sell your own content on lbry.

- every week they send a mail with a video link. watching that gives 2 LBRY
- engage on reddit , discord, they tip the user for helpfull suggestion

Steemit for videos ist actually dlive or dtube ;)
I didn't know steemit for video actually already exists. Is it by steemit because it has direct integration of comment section and account setup?

I just watched a dtube video by the Hodgetwins saying that they currently make more money with their DTube account than with their main youtube channel (around 4mil subs?). Can this be true?
According to their dtube channel, they are at around $5k total. Does yt pay as bad or am I missing something?

Anyhow, this is fantastic!
Does anyone know if you can simply reupload the same videos from your yt channel without any issues/ copyright strikes/ bans, etc.?

As for lbry.io - isn't this rather a digital library for videos? For example, for educational video creators to be paid for downloadable content?
Can't find a way to use it as platform other than downloading their software.

Interesting - Downloading now - will post feedback afterwards!

I'll try to answer your questions in the ritght order.
dlive and dtube are kinda "dapps" working on the steemit blockchain. You will get money for every kind of interaction (even if you delegate your power to somebody else which affects his voting power (more money for comments or votes). You will need only one steemit account for every dapp on steemit.

The Hodgetwins are pretty new on steemit and do already a lot of money because of their reputation. You can check their balance easy: https://steemit.com/@hodgetwins/transfers
Youtube is a total mess these days, i have deleted all of my videos and switched to steemit too. Got there already 3k $ in 3 months.

You can upload every video without copyright claim. But there are already a lot of bots which might downvote you for doing bad things, so be carefull to upload only stuff which is yours (leave a original YT link in the post).
About lbry.io, sorry i have no clue about that platform.
Best regards
Artur
