Does anyone know if this is feasible? I'm using a program to gather whois data but i hit a roadblock with the servers rejecting me after 20 or so requests.

Yes it is feasible i used to do it. But now it is pointless. Too many companies spam this way.

I ran into the same problem today. Does any suggest a solution?

It wasnt a program it was a subscription service, i paid $99 per month.

Try using proxies to gather data? with 1 ip websites will block you faster and they will count it under spam attempt.

I used a variety.

There are different services you can use, depends what you want to use the info for.

If you can explain i can point you in the right direction, but as outlined earlier your entering an over saturated market.

For example there are services that you can download all the whois data from every new website registered within the last 24 hours.

Others you can target by industry.

Depends what your looking for.

If i feed it a list of URLS, i want the email addresses of the webmaster/writer

Sure but what is you want to sell them. You see most whois data is junk, either is private or the person who registered it is the web developer not the decision maker.

Oh i see. Well heres the thing, i usually hire a guy to comb through blog posts and find the bloggers email. Is there a program that can just find the email addresses on the page its given?

Sorry i still am not quite sure what your looking for. You want the email address of bloggers?

Do NOT do it. Most people have privacy enabled, and if you hit a privacy mailbox you're going to get reported to spamhaus, killing your IPs and your money site domain. I'm an expert, take my word for it.

As for the rejections, you can alwasy run your script on a linux server through multiple IPs if required, and ue the whois command on linux. I used to do it with a shell script before I got hit hard.

This tool can scrape whois: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/boost-your-traffic-sales-seo-with-paigham-bot-the-ultimate-contact-form-submitter.627638/

the translation is not really good enough ..... maybe it's in English but if you translate from English to another language it makes often no sense and looks like spam.
i use it and rewrite the text .. that's a very fast way to get unique articles which don't take much more than 15 minutes.
