Hi all, hope you are doing great with your online and offline businesses. I've decided to create this journey to keep me motivated and accountable towards my future.

Short Bio of what I did in the past and what I am currently up to:

Been with BHW for about 3 years and learned many useful things that I've already implemented offline and online. I am currently working offline for myself for about 8 years and entered the online platform 3 years ago. Offline I am running a small internet shop doing the usual stuff like C.V typing, photo printing, company profiles, pamphlets, business cards, downloading movies and series and sell it to customers. Selling movies and series is still profitable in my area.

Online I am currently working on my third Amazon Affiliate website. Sold the first site for $400 after 10 months(like you all should know that the firts project will not always be successful)

Second site was around 7 months old and sold it for $2200 profit. The site made around $130/pm.

Currently busy with site number 3:

Website age: 3 months and 2 weeks

Keywords according to Ahrefs:

Expenses so far:

Domain and hosting: $18
Freelance writer: (Around $40) I am currently writing my own posts whenever I have time
Backlinks: $30 - $50

My strategy:

Creating long blog posts example: Top 10 washing machines review
My average word count per article is between 1500 - 2500 words.

I am also more focused on buying intend keywords, even if the search volume is below 300 per month.

I never go for high volume searches because what I've learned that you will eventuallly rank for those keywords as well.

Youtube:

For every article I create I also create a youtube video and I've already seen an increase in youtube traffic this far.
I am also sending traffic from my youtube video's to my articles just to play it save and not getting banned from Amazon.

Current Traffic:

I am currently averaging between 20 - 30 people a day. I know it's not much but like I've said before it's all about buying intent.

My Amazon Stats to Date:

The site is just over 3 months old and I've already covered my expenses till date:

As you can see there is still 23 items that needs to be shipped before I get the commissions from that items.
I am hoping to average $150 this month.

Hopefully you will find this journey helpfull and I am open to any suggestions to help improve my site.

TAT for $500 - August - November

From where you are getting content for YouTube. Is it just a video with images only?

Good luck.

"search volume is below 300 per month." I am following the same path mate. I am only 1 month old though. it's good to see someone following the tricks :)

I think I will start my journey too .

Good luck. Which niche? How much are you earning per month using 3rd site?

Was it an expired domain in the same niche you bought or have you bought it and moved onto a different niche?

I am focusing on the Home & Outdoor niche. Which is in my opinion an authority niche site.

Jan: $0 started the site
Feb: $2.40
March: $27.68
April: 69.42

This is a brand new domain. And because I had already good luck with the previous site I though well why don't I just create the same type of site like the one I've sold and just do it better than before.

I was just wondering if it was a smart idea to go after really low volume kw`s (under 500 searches a month). Glad I came across your thread to see others are doing this as well. Can you share more info on your backlink strategy? That was always the worst part of the process for me...

Thanks :)

First of all, people under estimate the power of low search volumes. I've been following this strategy from my previous site and worked like a charm.

Backlink strategy, not really have one. I just try to diversify as much as possible with Web 2.0's, profile links, social shares, PBN links.

About 30% of links point to root domain while the others points to posts and pages.

Good luck buddy. Hope you will reach your target asap. Please share your strategies and the services you bought from where and whom.

Thank you.

Interesting journey, also interested in what kind of videos you use, images with info? Something else?

you mentioned you do keywords with 300 monthly searches. is this an old database that you are using ? asking this because google adwords shows monthly searches differently than what it used to do before; it shows monthly searchs between 100 and 1000, then 1000 to 10k and etc

I want start can you tell me how you wrote the article are you copy others article and how u rank the articles ?

I am using the toolbar extension, keywords everywhere and keyword finder to get an estimate of monthly searches.

I am writing mostly top 10 best of articles with a 600 word intro that shows the reader why they need that specific product or why it would benefit them. For the product reviews of I aim for 200 words for each of the articles.

I am also looking at the top ranking articles and combine mulltiple reviews to make it my own version. I check their backlinks to that article and if they don't have to many backlinks to that article I send some backlinks (web2.0's, PBN links and Profile links) to that specific article. I then wait a few weeks to see what impact those links had. If it had some positive results I continue the process untill it reach top 3.

In my experience it is best to target low monthly seraches but then the product price should be around $100 or above to make it worthwhile especially when you need to send backlinks to that article.
