Hi, I tried to search for this option but with no luck. Most of the time homepage is about 60% of the marketplace threads which I don't really care about, and it's far harder to find interesting threads with all that spam on the homepage.

It would be optional for everyone, it would make homepage far cleaner, and easier to find interesting threads. Or it could be only just for VIP accounts.

Sorry if that was already asked, but I couldn't find any threads.

I would go for an option such as "Most discussed threads" which would have the day/week options (maybe even hour), but as someone who sells here and pays to do so, I WANT my stuff to be on the homepage. Tons of value on the marketplace if you look in the right places anyway, and requesting to use the forum without seeing the stuff that pays for it (even though you are a Jr VIP) reminds me of the entitlement of kids nowadays when they want free content with 0 ads.

It's optional, me personally never clicked marketplace thread on the homepage, when I need something, I just go to that subforum, and get what I need. Also, it could be only for VIP accounts, as another bonus. And most marketplace threads are "Order place nr-XXXX" and something similar.

And you don't pay anything for your thread to be on the homepage. And if there is an option, for example, pay that your thread would be on top of the homepage, I'm fine with that.

Easiest way is go to https://www.blackhatworld.com/forums/

Find the threads you want to read / follow and then click to watch them and get notifications too ( if that's your thing )

I would never see/have bought/be interested in buying many different kinds of products and services if it were not for the current layout.

A lot of people would lose a good amount of money if this were to take effect.

I second this. Especially, the titles look so big with those utf characters that they distract me quite a lot. There should be some kind of filter for these threads.

That's what I'm doing with old, big threads, where is a lot of discussions going on. As I mentioned it could be just for VIP accounts as a small bonus.

There are a number of ways to do this as @MisterF mentions above follow people you find interesting and create your own feed visible here https://www.blackhatworld.com/account/news-feed

Follow threads and see a feed of them here - https://www.blackhatworld.com/watched/threads
Or
Focus only on the forums you're interested and watch them here https://www.blackhatworld.com/watched/forums

These (and more) are all visible under your account https://www.blackhatworld.com/account/contact-details

You can watch any thread by simply hitting the "watch thread" button at the top of the first post. Please note if you contribute to the thread you're automatically added to watching it and will receive notifications the next time it's posted on.

You can watch any forum in the same way - visit the route of the forum, for example, https://www.blackhatworld.com/forums/seo-link-building.43/ and hit the watch forum button again top of the forum opposite the page numbers listing. Useful if you want to be alerted when there is a new service added to the marketplace for example.

If you're only interested in following specific users then click on the follow button - (if you're already following them it will show as "UnFollow").

Combine these for a more focussed BHW targeted to your interests. But don't forget to stick your head above

I never thought about your second suggestion, and looks like it almost solves my problem but as I'm now checking https://www.blackhatworld.com/watched/forums it shows only forum name but not post feed, like home page is or like new posts section https://www.blackhatworld.com/find-new/24725984/posts and I guess there is no change to make new posts feed out of watched forums? :D

And I'm bad with English phrases, does "But don't forget to stick your head above" means "to do or say something one thinks is important even though it may have bad results"? :D

It means 'keep an eye out for threads in the other sections'. You never know when a valuable thread might pop up in a section that you're not subscribed to.

If there would be in Watch forums section button to watch New posts, and see a feed of all new posts, that would be so nice, and then i just subscribe to all forums, except marketplace forums, so I don't miss anything :D

Yeah sorry stopped mid brain dump there.

The active thread feed from each forum can be viewed by clicking into each of the forums with the latest post from each forum appearing under the forum in the watched forums page.

https://www.blackhatworld.com/find-new/24725984/posts is a feed of all threads - same as the homepage. However https://www.blackhatworld.com/watched/threads is just the threads with new comments on that you've actually chosen to watch. It's your bespoke homepage for threads you're following.

What I think you're after - a section that shows all new posts (as per the homepage feed), from subforums you follow, currently isn't an option, maybe we could do it?. I'm sure it won't take much to combine the 2 so you can see all new posts in the forums you're watching only. if there is any interest in this drop a message with your ideas and an @Diamond Damien shoutout below and I'll check it out.

"But don't forget to stick your head above" - I mean don't just focus on your subforum niche, BHW has loads of great crossover resource - for me the homepage is the pulse of what's going to happen in the Digital Marketing industry in 6 months time and will be taught in 3-4 years time, it's uncurated and raw and always helps spark ideas.

That's exactly what I'm suggesting, and I think it's even better idea than I suggested at first in this thread.

You mean create a new thread in this section with this idea and @mention you, or just PM you with this idea?

Let's keep it in here - all good - @rimvy any other thoughts on this suggestion - anyone feel free to contribute below.

I would like the option too so +1
