How much for this shoutout?

Hey everyone

someone contacted me yesterday on one of my accounts to offer me a shoutout for a mug to sell on his Shopify shop and I would have liked to know how much you would ask him for this kind of service (I am completely inexperienced, I have never done this before).
I have 7000 followers, 600 likes and 40 comments on average on my last 10 publications and he wants to make a post for 24h... how much will you take for that?

If your niche itsi about casual things not worth to much. But if it is about NASA then you talk on different levels. So ...

If you have a niche specific account with good engagement then you can charge more, but it depends a lot on the niche. It's odd that he wants to do a shoutout on a 7k account, but maybe your niche has a high conversion rate (or he is inexperienced).

If you reach 100k followers and retain good engagement then you can start charging $30-$50 daily as long as you don't wreck the account by spamming ads.

For example I usually pay $45 for shoutouts to a 70% US audience on a 180k account. Which is very reasonable for me. I personally don't advertise on accounts smaller than 50k just because it's not worth it for my niches.

As mentioned earlier already things that impact the price are:
- size of your acc
- engagement rate (which is relative to the niche)
- demo and geo location of your followers (less important for most dropshippers, but still)
- content relevancy between the buyer and the influencer

You can increase price when you can create the piece of content yourself (to match it more to what works with your followers, as opposed to a boring product shot) or, if you prove the return (for instance from previous shoutouts)

If we leave on the basis that my post is seen by 2000 people and that only 1% of people buy that makes 20 sales at 10 dollars or 200 dollars for the dropshipper. But it's the "normal" rate to give the influencer 10 dollars, there's no problem?

Unfortunately, it's unlikely even one person will buy anything.

If he doesnt ask for a second shoutout you can be pretty sure there weren't any sales.

If you normally get 2000 views an advertisement will get less.

Of those 2000 views how many are from the UK, USA or Australia? 50%? Maybe less?

Of those 50% how many are real users and not repost/business/autoliker accounts?

With what's left, how many people are over 21 and have money to buy?

Of those people how many will buy from a website they've never heard of?

You're not left with a lot of people.. and 2000 views really isn't a lot. One of my accounts had only 2200 followers and it gets similar account views.
