How to get DA up?

Metrics don't mean shit. Focus on building quality links and prpducinp high quality content. A DA 10 site could make $1000 a day and a DA 20 site might only make $5. Metrics are really not that important as @Nargil mentions often metrics are easily influenced.

Okay but say I had the specific goal of raising my DA regardless of financial outcome... how would I go about doing that?

Hi if metrics dont mean shit why they are even used in the first place. Im sure that metrics are indicators of high authority thats why they are used. Of cause different sites have their own metrics thats why they always cross reference with Moz, Majestic, Semrush, and AHrefs to average out. Isnt it so?

Get Backlinks from High DA sites which helps somewhat to increase your DA.

I think you need high quality backlinks and that they pass a bit of linkjuice to your site and this up the metrics

Read the page from Moz on DA first then read the following articles.

In a nutshell raising DA can be achieved by building links to your site. Get a bunch of links from high DA sites and that will help raise it as @advik94 mentioned above.

You can check your backlink and avoid eRelevance backlink. build link high DA and PA site & must be relevance site.

If you want to increase your DA you have to build quality backlinks for your homepage compared to your inner pages.
Also get a backlink from high authority existing article it might get you some effects for your authority.
