Sharing a method for members is fine.

Creating a video to promote your affiliate links is not fine.

Honestly didn’t know. I have seen others create a YouTube video to promote a method. I did share a method I hadn’t seen before and thought I was giving some great value for it. If all I have to do is have a membership and I could promote like this, I obviously would have just gotten a membership. Sorry to ruffle any feathers, I honestly thought it was ok.

Great method, don't really see the issue with posting a video that contains an affiliate link (even though it may violate some rules on this forum). Thanks for posting this great content though!

I don't think anyone is saying the method is bad (I've done similar on FB).

What is being said is that sharing a method and expecting to get a return on your share via an affiliate link is not appropriate.

Not true, plenty of methods new/known/tweaked have been posted over the years.
