I dont know anything about what they are talking about in their email, but isn't there something more enticing they could have come up with to get people to click log in?
Recently I came across a website identical to myetherwallet. I almost fell for it, but I have a habit of retyping the url and then it showed a back arrow. So I thought well I navigated to a different site. And there it was, the back button led me to the scam one. I got out by pure luck.
Watch out for those funny characters in the URL, the encoded ones. They're able to register perfectly looking domains using one of the funny letters.
