Getting offers for guest post. How much should I charge?

So now that I have finally started to rank my Journey website ... I now keep getting lots of offers for guest posts on my website.

My website is really quality (based on my terms though) so I don't want to be accepting any free guest posts. Now my question would be, how much would you pay for a guest post on a website with the following stats?

I will be getting more and more visitors for sure once the other keywords pick up the ranks.

I kind of want to do this as it would help me with content and would get some money to reinvest into the website itself. Want to know your thoughts.

I also get a lot of guest post offers. I accept them for free. Why? Because it gives me quality content that ranks high eventually. There is, literally, no effort on my end (of course I have to edit and format the post). Of course, all guest posts are related to my niche on my blog (internet marketing). Sometimes, people search for terms and land on a guest post and then they contact me inquiring about certain services I provide. I would have missed this client because I had no intentions of writing about that topic myself. This is true story.

Not to mention, those who write for my blog, they become my IM buddies and friendships are important. I have received some work because somebody recommended me to their friends or clients.

Obviously, you cannot accept every crap you receive, content has to be well written, structured and optimised.

If you receive good and long post accept because for new websites this is bonus content. Then you receive more traffic start to charge for big money and of course skip short and bad articles

I already got 17 articles on site which is enough (and more to come). If its really super quality content, I might consider free nofollow link.

·         We do not accept content or link back to the adult material, gambling, casinos, alcohol, smoking and similar content/sites (this includes most dating and gaming sites)


Payment

All payments MUST be made through Paypal and must include the additional payment for their fees. It means a 40$ included fee.

If the price is too high for your budget, we can discuss options, but discounts are usually only given for amendments to old posts, NO FOLLOW links or bulk orders submitted at once.

P.s - there are few UK companies who are writing me and asking for a free guest post, as they provide 2000w+ articles with MY topic and they have really awesome content, I'm accepting their offer all the time.

Also, if somebody in your niche who is not your direct competitor asks for backlink and they have a nice site with good content, niche related, then give them free ********, it won't hurt your site and google likes when you link out to niche related sites.

Well he is not directly a competitor its just the same niche (not targeting same things though). I have come to a conclusion of $50 for a DFollow and 1.5k words content related to my niche. Hopefully, all goes well since this would actually be my first guest post being sold lol.

When I gave free guest posts I got ~3 per day, ready articles. Now, when I'm asking for 40$ I get ~3 guest posts per month. Because usually the askers are many BHW sellers who provide cheap links and they can't afford 40$. But yea, keep the price up so the market recovers maybe a little.
