Is it worth it learning how to design an eCommerce website?

Hello, i usually sell my products on websites like g2a.com but they have a 10% fee + the 14 day waiting to get payed thing. Is it worth it to learn how to build an eCommerce website and start my own business?
If anyone owns an eCommerce website, do you get sales? Do people trust you? Was it hard to start getting sales? Do i need to promote my website? How much does it actually cost to start your own business like that?

I wouldn't recommend getting a free theme from here if you are starting a real business. Only time you should use a nulled theme is when you are not sure about the purchase and want to test the theme first.

There are templates that you can use to just design, don't waste your time learning the technology, it will change before you know it

U can easily make a few small changes 2 a theme to make it look unique - there are some excellent premium themes in the downloads section

You never know what's in a nulled theme. Malware scanners cannot scan all the codes.

Not unless you intend to make a career in web design. Lots of premium e-commerce templates available for purchase and download.

The key is getting targeted traffic. You might have the best website and products. Unless you have traffic that converts, its worthless. Do you make decent number of sales at G2a? Then maybe you should consider scaling. Tons and tons of information and resources available on BHW.

well your main problem will be driving traffic to your store. maybe you got emails from existing customers on g2a and could send them an mailing or similar.
the costs are more or less your least problem

So i should find some free templates for eCommerce websites, but i would also like the site to be able to send the product instantly without me giving it to the buyer manually, is it still possible?. Is there a chance that someone will be able to hack my site and get all of my products? Since i sell Accounts and CD-Keys for games it is possible to lose everything. What about the traffic, if i buy from smm sites website traffic will it boost anything? I could spend some $$$ for advertisements.

IFF you know how to get traffic then yes by all means go for it.
You don't need to learn how to design ecom pages. There is a plethora of ready made code including the designs for you to use.

If you have already sold products as your first post indicates then you should b familiar with that process. So traffic then - as per my previous post re Adwords vouchers - Google shopping clicks became pretty cheap recently to compete with FB and the like. Worst case scenario you waste $25 - here in Aus you have to spend that to get the $100 voucher

If your not sure about how to set up your own store or drive traffic to it, your best starting by learning how to drive targeted traffic.

The simplest way is to do that is as an affiliate of a store similar to the one you wish to set up. Once you know how to drive traffic that is profitable. Then start your own store.

Totally agree with this comment. I spent a lot of time learning PHP and web design to make a super customized store. But no matter how good your store is, if you don't know how to properly do onpage SEO, drive targeted traffic and learn some backlinking strategies, you will only hear crickets for months. I learned this the hard way.

Now, learning the technology behind your store never hurts, specially for e-commerce. Usually onpage SEO on ecommerce is very complex, since most of the pages are auto generated in the backend. Learning how to customize your store will help you a lot in the long run. But again, I'd suggest to learn how to drive traffic first.
