Turned my lousy %4 amazon associates into 50%. easy.

was freaking tired of the %4 amazon paid me with the associates program ( or is it 6? either way its shit)

saw that 1 of the products on my site is being bought 90% of the time through my amazon link

emailed the guy who owns the product through amazon (he does FBA)

he gave me his number, called him, long story short

we're now officially partners, 50% 50%.

Thought itll help some of you guys that are still getting the shitty 4%

I called and said " hi buddy, awesome product, youre getting x amount of monthly sales from my site i can send you a screenshot if you want. now im going to do 1 of 2 things, either we partner and ill push ur product harder, or ill find someone who will and promote his. " of course i said it in a nicer manner, nice but assertive. worked like a charm as its a win-win

Yeah, of course it made sense for him and I wouldnt offer that unless I knew his monthly sales (jungle scout extensions)
So if hes selling as an example 30 pieces / mo on amazon, and over 50% of these sales are coming in from my review website.. he can't say no even if he really wants to

Well I left Amazon because of the shitty commissions partners with #1 product manufacturer would work well.

Dude, this isn't a sales call, I have an accent by the way and my English isnt perfect at all.
But youre freaking giving this guy/gal 50%+ of their sales, you dont need to be Grant Cardone to show them the value here...
They dont wanna partner? cool, just call another supplier of the same product
They dont wanna partner either? cool, go to alibaba.com and do private labeling yourself, take 100% of the profits.

Exactly, I started utilizing 'cold calling' more nowadays, most people are scared to call people, so if you got some balls to pick up the phone you're already way ahead of your competitions, they're hiding behind their laptops

Thats actually something im going to try to adopt now. Start an amazon affiliate site on a product that is easily private labeled, rank it, once you see sales, either partner with the seller or private label it yourself. That should take an amazon affiliate profits that does $200, to a few thousands a month. same site, different commission structure.

We bought a website which was making 30-40 dollar a month.

Turned it into a 200 dollar one in 1 month.

Just by referring our own product...

If people leave their email, my JV partner will just email them to buy the product

Making 10x more than it was originally making

Will update the JV thread soon.

Only bad thing is; paypal sucks and we were able to add one product only :l
