I would say a significant percentage of people want to 'get rich quick' with minimal effort or investment.
If people ask valid questions, then it's fair enough and people should try to help, no matter if the question has already been answered. However, if people ask questions like "How do I make $1,000 in a week?" and "I have $10, how do I turn this into $10,000?", then what do they expect?
People don't realise that if you want to make a good career and earnings out of IM, then it's no different to a normal job. You have to learn, commit time and put a lot of energy in to reap the rewards.
well i'm not like that. i want to get decent not rich and in time not quick and with decent effort and low investment.
i did ask valid questions but answers were always "search more", "here, i won't help you but have my moral support", "you want spoonfed! nooooo!".
aaand i didn't think exagerated things like 10$ to 10.000$. more like i have 10$ and want to turn it into 50cents/1$ per day

Op, a lot of us are professionals and give advice to members just starting out. Bear in mind many of us have made costly mistakes and know this pitfalls, so help others avoid losing money. Stop whinging and start learning.

Crazy, so the person expect that someone will spend hours with him on Skype to teach him for free.
No, thx... better to go to pub ;)

So ? What took them 6 months to learn is what are asking them to tell you in six minutes for free. Makes any sense ?
i have respect for your posts and responses. However i don't respect the fact that you don't link the context. Maybe i'm wrong but it looks like you are hunting my words to give me replies, instead of actually understanding what i am trying to communicate. When did i ever mention i wan't anything for free?
I like to learn from my mistakes also from other peoples mistakes. If i win an advantage, your time/experience must value too. That means, i find it fair to offer to compensate in return. If not 6 months, maybe 2-3? different methonds take different ammount of time and journey.

You are asking for mentoring in return of money which is not allowed here. If you have some money to spend, there are members selling services ( AdSense niche sites, Amazon sites) here which you can buy and earn from it.

I wasn't referring specifically to you.

There are plenty of good methods on these forums that are still valid and work today. You need to test, test, test to find how to adapt them so they work for you. If you have questions about a method, then ask away in the thread and I'm sure someone will help.

What you won't find here is an A to Z guide, step-by-step, how to make money. No one in their right mind provide this, however many people on here do give you the foundations.

This should not be made public.

Why not? I was very close to telling the OP to fuck off. I think it highlights his mentality. even though i informed him coaching was against forum rules he then wanted me to guide him via skype or email.
BHW doesn't need members like OP. If people can't be arsed to put in minimal effort then I can't be arsed to help them.

When did i ever mention i wan't anything for free?

Free or not free, mentoring or coaching is not permitted and should a situation where one mentors or coaches have it's genesis on BHW and something goes wrong (it has in the past which is why it is prohibited) then people get banned.

You were asking to be mentored, Asif did the right thing and now you are whining.

Waste all the energy you want on whining as opposed to reading the journey and money making subforums and learning from those hundreds/thousands of people that are sharing in there. It's your choice.

This forum is probably the most helpful forum on the net.
We were all noobs at some point and we all struggled at some stage.
When I first came to BHW I had limited WH knowledge of SEO and didn't understand half the things that were being discussed.
I spent my first few months solidly reading and learning, this meant looking things up and carrying out research.
If people can't do the basics to help themselves then why should anybody else help them.
I will always try to help people, especially if they show they are dedicated to learn and at least ask intelligent questions.

First of all, under the forum rules (3.3), asking 'how to make XX per day' is not allowed. It doesn't matter how much or how little you are asking to make, and there is a reason behind that.

It is really annoying to see these type of questions constantly asked, and this is the reason that people tell you to use the search button. The question has been asked in multiple different ways probably thousands of times on the forum (despite being against the rules) so yes, there are answers to it.

However, it also comes back to the spoonfeeding issue - the methods are here on the forum. They are what you make of them. Most of them require a twist or a unique take to make them really work, and many require a certain level of investment - with no guarantee of a return until you have learnt precisely what you should be doing. This forum, and the posts within it can help you lay the groundwork, but there is no way to start earning without a good amount of hard work.

My advice to anyone looking to build an income from IM is that unless you are offering services like content writing, graphic design - that require more of a time investment than a monetary one etc, do not try to do it without a reasonable amount of income or savings behind you.

The whole constitutional privacy violations bit kills me. This is a privately owned business, and it would be laughable to suggest that everyone can just PM eachother whatever they want without impunity. Our inboxes would be the stuff of nightmares.

It's pretty simple - if you don't like the fact that there are rules to respect and follow, no one is forcing you to be here.

This thread is leaning towards what the OP did to warrant warnings. I don’t think that matters.

His post is about how members in general act, just like my initial post about how it’s important to remember many people come from Google and don’t understand the language, context, or forum etiquette.

I mentioned this to DD in a PM and I actually saw talk of a “designated spoonfeeder” a while back in a suggestions thread (?) (maybe @Apricot can confirm that) but the forum can be a very hostile place for new members.

Many members don’t speak an ounce of English and simply don’t know what’s expected of them. They may not be able to sift through hundreds of threads like native speakers can and being told that their threads are “shit”, having posts removed, being called out, infracted etc etc etc can scare people away.

Not that new members should be allowed to do what they want, but it’s worth considering.

When I joined the forum, I didn’t know a lot. I asked a lot of questions and that’s how I learnt what I know.

There’s a big difference between pointing someone in the right direction, actually spoonfeading them, and bluntly telling them to stop asking for help.

I don’t think any of this is related to my opinions of the staff, and I don’t appreciate passive-aggressive posts insinuating that, @BassTrackerBoats

Of course some of them do all they can to find something wrong with the staff and have no issue making that public.

It was a genuine comment on my behalf, as I know what it’s like to not know anything about IM or what forums are like. I’ve mentioned this in the past, both publicly and in private. It’s one of the reasons I post threads where I can helping - or ar least attempting to.

I’m sorry if you feel it was in any way geared towards the moderators but my intentions were just to make people more aware about other people’s point of view before shooting them down. I, too, am guilty of this and can do more.

Then internet marketing is probably not for you.
