My Pinterest view and traffic drops dramatically

I have no idea why my pinterest views start to drop dramatically (refer to the attachment).
Each pin reach less than 100. (Normally my pin reach at least 10000)
I used to get at least 200 - 500 clicks a day from Pinterest, but now only around 50 - 60 this week

Anyone face the same issue?

I was pinning 10 to 30 a day. I didnt pin much since last week but start pinning 10 - 30 this week.
Is it the reason?

Please advise.

May be thats the reason or may be there is some update by pinterest ?

I think there is an ongoing update in the pipeline for impressions and clicks metrics to your Linked domain, so accounts including mine showing the same as yours. Best to check your Analytics elsewhere to keep an eye on traffic as Pinterest is a few days behind anyway.

Perhaps the fever for star wars ended after the release and that's what effected your traffic?

The one time this happened to me was when I rolled out a new site. The traffic spiked up for a couple of weeks, then it died down suddenly as well. If your site is not new, then check your high ranking keywords in the search. If they're not ranking high anymore then that's what happened.

This should be appearing as fixed for you now. A few of my accounts which were showing "0" because of the impressions and clicks metric updates are now back to normal, to clarify this was just merely a cosmetic issue with with the reporting tools, you should have still be receiving traffic on the back end regardless.

Simple answer is Yes.
I would be concerned if this was no longer the case for most people with one or multiple accounts pinning daily as those results can be easily achieved with only one account.

However OP has not mentioned how long hes pinned for / or total amount of pins he has out in Pinterest for those results, so if you were to follow suit its just a simple case of growing accounts, pinning and being patient with it.

I think a lot of what is holding people back on Pinterest is that they are treating it like it will happen overnight, it just does not work this way. Sure you can generate traffic in 1 day, but to maintain and scale it can take months of work and waiting for new pins to bed in, and older pins to go viral again or spike your traffic.

Once you have an established account and the traffic is flowing things become easier.
