Fake referrer - so I can understand the context you are working with here - you want to place - inside the logfiles of a given website a referring URL which is NOT the referring URL?
Can you expand just so I can check that VB6 is good with this. It depends on the properties and methods of the iframe that may be available to me at runtime I think.
If not I may have to use C# or Asp.net could probably do it.
Let me know your full techical specs please.

sorry for not being on this topic so long, i'll try to explain:

a hit from an iframe will count the iframe container page as referrer, we should fake that as being referred from another page.

a better thing would be that the iframe to be bordered with some gifs... i can do that too. but the gifs to have a 'onmouseover' that after 2 secs will popup a flash player over the iframe without changing the page!

what's that for?
the iframe will be covered with a gif with a play button and be pointed to an ad like adsense. the user can't see the ad, just the gif. now, when he press the 'play' button, he actually click the ad, but the faker will show the target site like coming from another page.
he clicks the ad inside the frame but just 1 second before he moved the mouse over the gif border that will popup the player over the entire frame, and without refreshing the page. in the background iframe, the site will load and the user will see the vid for many seconds...
the traffic can be sent from youtube.

i can do the iframe borders/player and point to the ads(the css/html work), can you make the referrer and the popup player ?
