BHW under constant DDOS?

Is BHW under constant DDOS for these last couple of days?

Traffic on site is terrible (https://www.blackhatworld.com/online/) and I keep being bothered by CloudFlare.

Your thoughts?

yeah dude some 1 to 2 days back i was unable to open bhw home page i didnt knew what happend but then i came to know it was a ddos but nothing happend

It looks like the site was/is under attack but it seems they are handling it pretty well. The cloudflare thing is not that bad compared to having the forum offline, right? So I say good job!

Personally I only had the issue for a few hours this morning, since then its been fine for me all day (UK). But I guess its on-going and probably effecting certain locations. It does happen every once in a while and normally blows over at some point. Probably some banned member that wants to cause problems....

Why are you saying that, Cloudflare is pretty strong to handle DDOS, otherwise why even BHW use them ?

cloudflare has limits on DDOS
the only way to survive DDOS is having backup servers

Hmmm, it is a CDN, so they are basically a world wide backup servers , that IS the company itself man, what are you talking about ?

if they are using CDN they would still need to have a main server and edge servers.
https://www.blackhatworld.com/members/davids355.180555/had the problem CF this morning that means the attacker must be from america or canada because i had it since 3 days ago and i'm currently in canada.
So the DDOS happend on an edge in the west first.
The p2p connection is too slow for a site this big

i cant access bhw without vpn, tried different browser on same pc. didnt worked
tried on mobile with same network, it worked..whats the issue?
