Hello, i have simple question about top 10 competition research, if top 10 are amazon sites and rest are different shops, then the kw is possible to rank pretty easy ? is that correct?
Um.... let's see what the pros say, but I don't think so. If it is invaded by amazon product pages... it's amazon man.
Watching this.
Product or category keywords? Some metrics to look at from somewhere would be nice.
Well heres an example it's like egg basket(example) and top 10 is just amazon or other e-commerce sites, metrics top10 DA ranges from 20-100(wikipedia is 100 ) and pa ranges from 1-68(wikipedia is 68) and only 2 sites have backlinks wikipedia and some other which has 3 backlinks.
three of them are 1,three are 20-27, and rest of 3 ranges from 35-49, so you basically looking at PA when looking for kw? what ranges would be good to rank against? Are most of the PAs 1 or are only a couple? If you have mostly high PAs these will probably be hard to outrank. PA can also appear 1 if a site is PBNing but blocking crawlers, while in Google's eyes that page is way stronger.

ok Thanks that helps a lot! There isn't a one-fits-all answer to this, but basically 5+ PA 1s and low DAs usually means a low comp keyword. A high DA and low PA can be tricky, since that could be an Ebay/Etsy category page, or a YT vid with 10m views, all of which would be harder to outrank.

Unfortunately, not the case most likely.
Check the backlink profiles of those shops.
Amazon pages probably have 0 links but it doesn't matter because of huge authority.
