Coinhive + Tier 3 Traffic?

I know that you need tons of traffic if you want to mine Monero. But think of it this way: let's say that a website gets around 1M visitors/month. Do you think coinhive would be a good way to monetize it? Noting that the bounce rate and average session duration is good.

Coinhive gets easily detected by antivirus softwares.

Based on my experience, on average I need about 33,000,000 seconds on my site every day to mine 1 Monero each month.
If the average visit is 33 seconds I need 1,000,000 visits every day to make about $250ish in one month.
A really basic ad setup would make $1000s a day with that sort of traffic and your site wouldn't be flagged by Search Engines, social networks etc as having malware.

My average session duration is around 04:20. (lol; true, though)

I wouldn't rely on that, obviously. I'm already focusing on user experience... but I just can't help but wonder what it would bring if I activated it for like 10 days or something.

Yes sure, you can make some tricks on website code in order to have a longer session duration, but yes that will be a bit annoying.

I'm not doing any tricks to increase the sessions duration. Some people actually spend 24 minutes on my website.

I would think it's worth it if you have a decent amount of volume. Although, I think that number would drop when users notice CPU usage going up, especially if the bulk of your traffic is from mobile.

I experimented with tier 3 traffic a few months ago, and was never able to turn a profit (and was flagged by the ad network for "malicious activity") so had to pause that campaign, but there's definitely some potential.
