I’ve been researching quite a lot lately. After answering this question I can finally start my botting journey with multiple accounts.

Which proxy would be the least traceable/safest to use for botting:
1. Create an elite proxy yourself with VPN
2. A quality proxy from a premium vendor like https://www.sslprivateproxy.com/ , http://stormproxies.com/ or https://airsocks.in .

For me getting banned is really a no-go, as I would lose customers. Is any of these options safer than the other one?
I am mostly scared of upcoming ASN / subnet blocks.

I'm looking for private, reliable proxies so I can at the very least leave them running for 2 weeks.

I don't ask for much tbh

Hi Edvard,

The attached post explains it best.

Hi Edvard,

makes perfect sense.

What truly is scary though, is the moment instagram implements something that'll fuck over EVERYONE and it'll be extremely hard to bypass... because as of now my F/U(with 3-4 likes per user) is working just fine *knock on wood* but I got a bad feeling about it all....

I"m looking for an answer on this one too. For quite some time now. So I"m bumping your thread!
Don't think people are very eager to give away their proxy suppliers I guess?
Or maybe the answer is not that easy?

Yes, people aren’t eager to give away their proxy supplier.

But I’m not asking for that. Just want to know which would be the best method: 1. Create proxies yourself, or 2. Use a premium proxy vendor.

Another method that caught my eye is run a ‘virtual machine’

I’m just wondering which method other members use who cannot permit to lose their IG account, must be some out there.

How I see this at this moment:
Best method: Create proxies yourself ( Only using this method you can be certain of the quality)
However I don't know how hard this is. So if someone can help here? (guide?)
Because I have read a lot of complains about Instagram proxies from these premium vendors. And I guess your account can get flagged after some time.

VPS and VM are also possible indeed. But again only 3 - 5 accounts per.

Sidenote: When using a proxy you can acces your account manually by phone through the same proxy. This is not possible with a VPS? Or am I missing something / Is this not necessary?

You won't get banned. You'll get temporary blocks if the proxy is flagged. I have customers and facing this problem a lot. Will be looking at switching proxies... But for you, go with the best option you can think of. It won't be a game over, it will mean that you'll have to switch but it's not the end of the world. I've been using instantproxies and they worked really well for some time but now getting blocks a lot

"Create proxies yourself"
that will be more expensive (proxies providers have big discounts on ips and servers because they buy in bulk). Also what you will do if you will get banned, you must create a new server even that you have paid the other for at least 1 month

1. You need technical knowledge and to rent a server. But you have full control over your IPs.

2. Providers have plug and play. As soon as you buy your proxies, you will get ypur IPs. Plus they have a largel IP pool than youncan creata f poo r yourself.

Someone suggested me to create 3G/4G proxies myself with a USB modem.

Looking into it right now, however can't find much about it in this forum or Google. Anyone has more knowledge about this ?

I know how to setup mobile proxy server but I will not share this on forum. You can PM me wtih your contact info.

In my opinion residential proxies are very good. Of course if you have aged good quality accounts.

you will have just 1 proxy per USB modem and if the price of that USB modem is more than 2$/month it won't be profitable

For my current situation that is enough already. I won't be running 500+ accounts, only 3 for 'proper' IG use. If 3/4G is the safest option, then I would like to go for that.

Do you know where I can find any tutorial which explains this setup?

you don't need any proxy or tutorial. Just run the instagram from the computer where you will put the USB. But you can run 1 account in the same time because the USB will give you just 1 IP. then restart the USB modem to get a new IP

I see, unfortunately this isn’t an option for me than. As I need to run multiple accounts at the same time.

But thank you for the info! :)
